Welcome to Lakeview Community Church!

My name is Steven Rodriguez, and I’m the pastor here at Lakeview. My wife and I moved to Greece with our two kids in December of 2015. Before coming to Lakeview, I was a pastor of worship arts in west Michigan. Since coming, we’ve loved becoming a part of Lakeview and exploring the Rochester area.

I’m excited about classic pastoral work: dwelling in prayer and scripture, preaching the word, sharing in the Lord’s Supper, visiting the sick and lonely, and enjoying fellowship around shared meals or coffee.

Besides being a pastor, I also enjoy playing and listening to music, writing, reading, and spending time with my wife Joanna and my kids, Cædmon, Esther Catherine and our youngest, Immanuel. We like to explore Rochester trails, build things, watch old movies, play board games, and eat good food with others.

Here at Lakeview, every Sunday we gather to worship God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Our worship is grounded in and nourished by the word of God, and we sing a blend of hymns and choruses, with organ, piano, choir, and a praise band. You’re welcome anytime to come and see what God is up to among us.

And if you’re interested in exploring our life together at Lakeview, I would be happy to meet with you!
