Announcements for July 25, 2021…
As those striving to have our hearts open to God and to neighbors, we ask that everyone show love and respect whether or not other people continue to wear masks at Lakeview. If you have any questions or comments about this new policy at Lakeview, please feel free to contact anyone on Consistory.
We are still keeping a record of who is in attendance in case someone tests positive for Covid-19. If you should test positive for Covid after attending our worship, please let us know so that we can take appropriate action.
We are in the middle of a new sermon series at Lakeview entitled “Entrusted,” where we are exploring the “good treasure” of the gospel as it’s shared with us in the Heidelberg Catechism. Each week’s sermon will still be focused on a particular passage of scripture, but the catechism is our most important conversation partner. During this sermon series, there are copies of the Heidelberg Catechism in the narthex that you are free to borrow! There are also several copies of a daily devotional through the Heidelberg Catechism, written by my friend, Stephen Shaffer. Please, take one or the other and spend some time with it this summer! I would also love to meet with you if you have read through parts of the catechism and you have questions about it. –Pastor Steven
